• You must be at least 18 years old to purchase Knuthenborg Safaripark's services online. - You can place orders online 24 hours a day. - When you place an order, we will send you an order confirmation via email. Note that we are not bound by the order until this point. You will receive an email with a code that deducts the paid ticket price if a season pass is purchased within 24 hours of receiving it. - You are responsible for ensuring that the customer information you provide during a purchase is correct, as we do not subsequently validate or verify this information.

• All online tickets will be delivered to the provided email address shortly after we have received your order—usually within 10 minutes. If this does not occur, please check your spam filter before contacting us. Knuthenborg Safaripark is not responsible for delays in delivery due to technical issues, your spam filter, or incorrect email addresses. - If you choose to purchase a physical annual pass, season pass, or family pass, it will be delivered by mail within approximately 14 business days. Knuthenborg Safaripark is not responsible for any delays caused by third parties.

• You generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when entering into agreements online. However, most of Knuthenborg Safaripark's services that can be purchased online are exempt from the right of withdrawal, in accordance with, among others, section 18, subsection 2, no. 1 and 12 of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. - Therefore, you only have a right of withdrawal when purchasing the following from our website: annual, season, and family passes. - If you have a right of withdrawal, you are entitled to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason within 14 days from the receipt of the order confirmation. However, you will lose your right of withdrawal if we have already delivered the service you ordered, e.g., if you have started using your annual, season, or family pass.
  
  Note: If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal on an annual, season, or family pass, you must notify us within 14 days of the order. If you opted for a physical plastic card, you must promptly return it to us after delivery if you have exercised your right of withdrawal. We do not refund delivery costs or the costs incurred for the creation of your card. If you begin using your annual, season, or family pass within 14 days of purchase, you must consent to waive your right of withdrawal.

• To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the agreement with a clear statement (e.g., by post or email). You can email us at knuthenborg@knuthenborg.dk. You may choose to use the standard withdrawal form at the end of this document, though it is not mandatory. The withdrawal deadline is met if you send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

• If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, excluding delivery costs and the costs associated with issuing your annual, season, or family pass, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we received notice of your decision to withdraw or from the date we received your annual, season, or family pass. We will refund you using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not incur any fees due to the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned cards.

• Online tickets provide entry to Knuthenborg Safaripark during normal opening hours and can be used once per ticket at any time of the day. - Tickets are non-refundable (except according to the above rules on the right of withdrawal) and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotional offers. - Flexible tickets are only valid during the season and period specified on the ticket. - Flexible tickets include entry to all areas of Knuthenborg Safaripark, including Limpopoland. - Tickets for multiple persons cannot be split over multiple days, and no voucher will be issued if one of the participants is unable to attend on the day.
  
  Note: Online tickets cannot be used for entry to the safari park in connection with a stay in Knuthenborg Camps units. No discount on admission will be given for stays at Knuthenborg Camps units, even if you have online tickets.

• You can read about annual, season, or family passes at Knuthenborg kort og billetter. - Passes are non-refundable (except as outlined above regarding the right of withdrawal) and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotional offers. - The season pass is personal and may not be transferred to others. The validity of the season pass is stated on the pass. - The season pass must include a clear portrait photo (not full-body) of the cardholder, which should be uploaded during the ordering process. Only the cardholder should appear in the photo. - If scanning a physical photo, crop it before uploading to avoid excessive white space. The photo on the pass is not approved by Knuthenborg Safaripark until the first visit. If the photo does not meet the quality, size, or recognizability standards as specified at terms and conditions, or if other details are incomplete, the pass may be confiscated at the entrance. - The cardholder is responsible for ensuring the card remains undamaged, so the text, photo, or QR code stays legible. The cardholder must carry the pass (either the digital/physical card or the temporary pass on print or smartphone/tablet) throughout the visit and present it upon request.

• Failure to comply with Knuthenborg's guidelines stated here, on knuthenborg.dk, and in safety material provided at the visit may result in the pass being permanently confiscated without compensation. - Unless stated otherwise, annual, season, or family passes do not offer discounts on special experiences/events that include park entry, or on add-ons for the camp. - Knuthenborg Safaripark’s season typically runs from April until the Sunday of Week 42.

• The annual pass is a partnership between Lalandia and Knuthenborg Safaripark; however, the agreement is solely with Knuthenborg Safaripark. No contractual relationship exists between the cardholder and Lalandia, and no data exchange occurs between Lalandia and Knuthenborg. The annual pass is purchased online at Knuthenborg.dk, and it must be scanned/shown at the Knuthenborg entrance. The pass must also be shown when used at Lalandia.
  
  Note: Family passes cannot be used for entry to the safari park when staying in Knuthenborg Camps units. No discount on admission is given for stays in Knuthenborg Camps units, even if you have a family pass.
  
  Note: Annual and season passes cannot be used for safari park entry when staying in Knuthenborg Camps units. No admission discount applies for stays in Knuthenborg Camps units, even with an annual or season pass.
  
  However, you receive a 10% discount on Knuthenborg Camps bookings for stays during these periods: March 30 – April 11, April 22 – May 27, June 10 – June 27, and August 11 – October 18 (excluding Saturday arrivals). The discount can only be used for one booking per year.

• The annual pass provides a range of benefits and discounts at Knuthenborg Safaripark and Lalandia. See the benefits here >https://www.knuthenborg.dk/en/annual-pass - The annual pass is valid one hour after ordering on knuthenborg.dk and can be used as an admission ticket to Knuthenborg Safaripark (during the season) after this time. - Annual pass discounts cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions at Knuthenborg Safaripark. - We reserve the right to change discounts and benefits associated with the pass. - The annual pass cannot be extended. If you wish to renew your pass after it expires, you will need to purchase a new one, which will be valid from the order date.
  

Special Terms for the Season Pass

• The season pass is valid for one season and only during the park’s regular season from April to October. It is not valid during any potential winter opening between November and February. - The pass provides a range of benefits and discounts at Knuthenborg Safaripark. See the benefits here > https://www.knuthenborg.dk/en/tickets-and-passes - If you have purchased a day ticket to the safari park, you can upgrade it to a season pass on the same day by paying the difference between the ticket and the season pass price. The amount deducted is the amount paid at the entrance. - The season pass is valid one hour after ordering on knuthenborg.dk and can be used as an admission ticket to Knuthenborg Safaripark (during the season) after this time. - Season pass discounts cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions at Knuthenborg Safaripark. - We reserve the right to change discounts and benefits associated with the pass. - A reminder email will be sent 14 days before the season pass expires. The season pass cannot be extended. If you wish to renew your pass after it expires, you will need to purchase a new one, which will be valid from the order date.

Special Terms for the Family Pass

• The family pass can ONLY be purchased online, and only during a limited period. - The family pass is valid for one season and does not apply to any potential winter opening. - The cardholder must be in the same vehicle as the up to 4 persons they wish to bring into the safari park. - The family pass can only be used once per day.

Knuthenborg Camp

• You can read about Knuthenborg Camp accommodations here > https://knuthenborg.dk/en/spend-the-night. - The full amount for the stay must be paid within 7 days of reservation; otherwise, the right to the reservation will be forfeited, and the booking will be canceled. - Please ensure that the booking is as desired. - Prices vary throughout the season and on different days, and they may be adjusted during the year. - The ticket must be presented upon arrival as either a printed copy or on a smartphone/tablet.

• Limpopoland is Knuthenborg Safaripark’s extensive amusement area, featuring Denmark's tallest water slide, roller coasters, water playground, Denmark's largest nature playground, eateries, and a café. Access to Limpopoland is included in the price of a Knuthenborg Camp stay. Knuthenborg Camp is located within Knuthenborg Safaripark, and park access is included in the accommodation price.

• Season and annual passes cannot be used for park access during a Knuthenborg Camp stay, meaning there is no ticket discount, even if you hold a pass. However, pass holders are eligible for a 10% discount on one booking per year in Knuthenborg Camp during the following periods: March 30 - April 11, April 22 - May 27, June 10 - June 27, and August 11 - October 18 (not valid for Saturday arrivals). Please note that the code is only valid for one purchase. At the entrance, you will receive a code allowing you to deduct the price of a day ticket per person from a season pass purchase if desired.

• Extras, such as meals, linens, and experiences, can be added up to 10 days before arrival. Knuthenborg Safaripark reserves the right to charge for missing or damaged items.
  
  
• Discount codes and promotional offers cannot be combined on the same booking.
• Only one discount code can be used per booking, and discount codes cannot be combined.

Cancellation Policy

• You can read more about Congo Splash and Kampala Express here > https://www.knuthenborg.dk/en/limpopoland-en. These attractions are weather-dependent, and Knuthenborg reserves the right to close them in adverse weather conditions.

• Access to Congo Splash and Kampala Express in Knuthenborg Safaripark is included in the entrance fee. This access is subject to VAT in accordance with Danish VAT law and is noted as "VAT-liable portion" on tickets and invoices. It is possible to opt out of these activities if desired.

• Opting out can be done by emailing Knuthenborg Safaripark's information desk when purchasing tickets online or during an in-person purchase at the park. Refunds for opting out of Congo Splash and Kampala Express will only be processed through an in-person visit to the information desk within the park. Refunds require either a stamped admission ticket from the ticket office or an email confirmation from Knuthenborg Safaripark.
  
  

Gift Cards

• The gift card can be used for the purchase of family, annual, and season passes, day and flex tickets, stays at Knuthenborg Safari Park, as well as in restaurants, kiosks, and shops, and is valid for 3 years from the date of issuance.

• Manual gift cards issued before 2022 are valid until the expiration date (3 years from the issuance date) and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• The gift card number for the digital gift card is entered when booking on Knuthenborg.dk, or used for payment in restaurants, kiosks, and shops in Knuthenborg Safari Park.

• Digital gift cards purchased at Knuthenborg Safari Park can be refunded for a fee of 25 DKK.

• In order for us to process a refund, we need the following information to identify you: Your name, email address, gift card number, and bank account number. Refunds can only be requested by contacting knuthenborg@knuthenborg.dk.

• For refunds requested between the expiration of the gift card and up to one year after, the fee of 25 DKK will be waived. After four years from the issuance date, the possibility of a refund expires.

• Please note that there may be restrictions on refunds for gift cards that are sponsored or given as corporate gifts.

Other Purchases

• Other purchases are non-refundable and cannot be combined with other discounts or promotional offers.
• Discount codes and promotional offers cannot be combined on the same booking.
• Only one discount code can be used per booking, and discount codes cannot be combined.

Personal Data and Cookies

• When you make purchases on Knuthenborg.dk/en, you may provide personal information and sign up for newsletters. We collect, process, and store personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your personal data will not be shared or sold to third parties and will be treated confidentially. • These terms and conditions, and any agreement regarding purchases from us, are governed by Danish law, excluding Danish choice of law rules and the CISG (Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods).
